He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmo M. Elstad and Maria "Mary" C. Elstad (Jelen); and his brother Paul. He is survived by: his wife Joan (Platz); his sons, Jay of Elk River, MN and Bradley (Beth) of Zionsville, IN; his grandchildren, Connor, Ava and Delaney; and his sister Andrine (Lawrence) of Bella Vista, AR. He is also survived by six nieces and nephews and several grandnieces and grandnephews.
