We are sad to announce that on July 18, 2023, at the age of 96, Velma Gallagher of Independence, Wisconsin passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Daniel Piel and Selma Piel (Engel); her husband Kenneth Gallagher of Ridgeway, MN; her siblings, Armin and Fern; and her daughter-in-law Lorraine Gallagher.

She is survived by : her children, Kathleen Gallagher (John Kolberg), Daniel Gallagher, Randall Gallagher (Karen) and LouAnn Rebarchek (Brad); and her sister Louise Salwey (George). She is also survived by 6 grandchildren.
