It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Frederic Schlicher of Iola, Wisconsin, who passed away on August 6, 2025, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family in the guestbook on this memorial page of Frederic Schlicher to show support.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Rudolph Schlicher and Marian Schlicher (Baldwin); his former wife Norma Schroeder; his son John; and his siblings, Jack, Bob and Mary Ann.
He is survived by: his wife Nancy Schlicher (Latham); his children, Jim Schlicher (Patty) of Iola and Sally Cintron (Melvin) of Panama; his grandchildren, Jaimie, Nicole, Amanda (Peter), Jonathan (Taylor) and Michael; and his great grandchildren, Aubrey, Calvin, Ava and Cohen.
Visitation was held on Saturday, August 9th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Hitterdahl Lutheran Church (540 Water St, Iola, WI 54945). A funeral service was held on Saturday, August 9th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations will be used for scholarships Fritz established at Wayland Academy, UW-Whitewater, or UW-Stevens Point.
