She was predeceased by: her parents, Hanford Olson and Alice Olson (Johnson); her husband Donald G. Mehus of Savior's Lutheran Church; and her brother Arlie Olson of Lake Milles, IA.. She is survived by: her children, Dale Mehus of Lake Mills, IA, Ruth Lutz (Dale) of Amherst Junction, WI and Luann Loberg (William) of Amherst Junction, WI; her grandchildren, Jenna Ambrose (Travis) of Amherst Junction, WI, Miles Lutz of Amherst Junction, WI, Julie Lea (Nic) of Amherst Junction, WI, Jared Lutz (April) of Abrams, WI and John Loberg of Amherst Junction, WI; her sister Ardelle Shanklin of Iola, WI; and her uncle Norman Johnson (Janet Mehus).
Visitation will be held on Friday, February 13th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 10:45 AM at the Our Savior's Lutheran Church of Iola (395 E Iola St, Iola, WI 54945). A funeral service will be held on Friday, February 13th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Our Savior's Lutheran Church (395 E Iola St, Iola, WI 54945).
In lieu of flowers a memorial fund has been established in Janet's name to Our Savior's Lutheran Church, 395 E. Iola Street, Iola, WI 54945.
