He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Gilbert and Mary Marie Sheets (Truesdale); his son Jeffrey P. Sheets; his sister Shirley Sheets; his siblings-in-law, Everett Sheets and Barbara Sheets; and his nephew Eric Sheets.
He is survived by: his brother Robert Sheets of Iola; and his nieces and nephews, Sherrie Nollenberg (Shawn), Shelli Petrosa (Joe), Shana Mortenson (Dan), Greg Sheets (Vicky), Pam Bumgardner (Chris) and Kim White. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
