He was predeceased by: his parents, Edwin Cartwright and Bernice Cartwright (Tarr); and his siblings, Gerald Cartwright (Elaine), Clarence Cartwright (Betty), Anita Paris (Lloyd), Melvin Cartwright, Les Cartwright (Mabel) and MaryLou Flader (Roger).
He is survived by: his children, Todd W. Cartwright and Beth Somers (Larry); his stepsons, Michael Derks (Patty), Jay Derks (Linda Ladwig), Paige Lucas, Pleasance Robbert (Aron) and Patience Dunn (Matthew Breitenstein); his sister-in-law Donna Cartwright (Thiel); his grandchildren, Nina Cartwright (Justin), Krystle Flanscha (Benjamin), Ashley Bauer, Georgia and Thomas Robbert; and his great grandchildren, Anthony and Austin LeCloux. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 24th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the First Lutheran Church (700 Main St, Ogdensburg, WI 54962). A memorial service will be held on Friday, October 24th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
