He was predeceased by: his parents, Matt Schaefer and Rose Schaefer; and his wife Elizabeth. He is survived by: his children, Robert Jr. (Sharon), Mark (Cynthia) and Gail Gahlman (Marti); and his siblings, Elroy (Margaret), Dolores Weis and Rita Bunke. He is also survived by 5 loving grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren, nieces nephews and other relatives and friends.
