He was predeceased by: his parents, Leslie Weiss and Mildred Weiss (Woog); his parents-in-law, Donald and Doris Hammes; and his siblings-in-law, Gary Schwartz and Nancy Hammes.
He is survived by: his wife Dawn Weiss (Hammes); his children, Ashley Reitz (Nathan), Lindsey Schmidt (Eric), Dustin Weiss (Michaela Nickel) and Jacob Weiss (Tabitha); his grandchildren, Morgan, Blake, Madison Reitz, Olivia, Cameron Schmidt and Lexi Weiss; his siblings, Margo Schwartz, Wendy Coulter (Daniel) and Kip Weiss (Stephanie); and his siblings-in-law, David Hammes (Debbie), Danny Hammes, Doreen Thull (Gary), Dale Hammes and Douglas Hammes (Becky). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many friends.
