He is survived by: his siblings, Donald "Hunter" Zirbel Jr. of Juneau, Larry Zirbel (Lori) of Iron Ridge, Lois Reinwald (Dan) of Iron Ridge, Diana Soto (Jeff) of Iron Ridge and Kim Zirbel of Iron Ridge; his brothers-in-law, Grover Cannon of Kiel and Norbert Hanni Jr. of Mayville; and his goddaughter Makayla Nickel. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
