He was predeceased by: his parents, Norden Hackbarth and Esther Hackbarth (Borchardt); his sister Dianne Krause; his brother-in-law Albert Damrow; and his nephew Peter Hackbarth.
He is survived by: his wife Arlene Hackbarth of Paul's Lutheran Church; his children, Robin Phillips (Jeff) of Wickenburg, AZ and Ruth Briski (Ron) of Oconomowoc; his granddaughters, Hailey Briski of Tampa, FL and Amanda Briski of Oconomowoc; his siblings, Betty Damrow and Jerry Hackbarth (Sherry); and his brother-in-law Roger Krause. He is also survived by other cousins, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 8th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Immanuel Lutheran Church (N572 Co Rd R, Watertown, WI 53098). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, July 8th 2025 at 11:00 AM and at 12:00 PM.
