He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul and Lydia; his son Ronald Lee Matek, Jr.; and his siblings, Barbara, Sharon, Margaret and Paul.
He is survived by: his significant other Linda Bain; his daughters, Cassandra Matek (Kelly Weinert) and Lisa Dunn (Scott); his stepsons, Charles, Anthony and Robert Kelley; his sister Darlene Nylund; his grandchildren, Kevin, Devin, Kylee, Preston Dunn, Destiny, Tyler, Brianna, Elena, Audrey, Aurora, Del, Natalie, Chevy, Shelby and Emily; and his close friend Dennis Uselman.
