She was predeceased by : her parents, Christian Albrecht and Clara Albrecht (Mundinger); her husband Edwin Schmelzer; her sisters, Caroline and Ruth Meyer (Albrecht); her brother-in-law Milton Meyer; her daughter Janet Lebamoff (Schmelzer); her sons-in-law, Barry Washburn and Philip Otto; and her siblings-in-law, Lois Walker (Schmelzer), Frank Walker and Elaine Schmelzer.

She is survived by : her nieces and nephews, James, Matthew Walker, Susan Walker and Bernice Abbot (Meyer); her children, Catherine Fehlauer (Bruce), Carolyn Otto (Philip), Eunice Washburn (Barry), Rev. Daniel Schmelzer (Patty), Mary Enright (Patrick), Karleen Oppermann (Dale) and Esther Bowe (Keith); her grandchildren, Jonathan Fehlauer (Amy), Jeremy Fehlauer (Samantha Suddeth), Dawn Fehlauer, Stephanie Orvik (Karl), Thomas Otto (Kathryn), Benjamin Washburn (Jessica), Nicholas Washburn (Brittney), Tiffany Washburn, Eric French, Jennifer Zimny (Aaron), Christian Schmelzer, Trevor Patt (Rebecca), Lindsay Carr (Benjamin), Kyle Patt, Eric Patt, Andrea Grasenick (Marcus), Alexander Oppermann (Jessica), Audrey Schlicht (Kody), Chrysta Bowe, Paul Bowe (Erica), Angela Ertl (Jordan), Lauren Lebamoff and Alexander Lebamoff (Aliya); her brother-in-law Norman Schmelzer; and also Robert Lebamoff (Diana). She is also survived by 25 great-grandchildren with three more expected, nieces, nephews and many other relatives and friends.
