We are sad to announce that on February 21, 2024, at the age of 87, Dorothy A. Lane of Jackson, Wisconsin passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Michael Zajac and Sally Zajac (Broz); and her siblings, Walter, Joseph, John, Martin, Helen and Marian Zajac.

She is survived by : her children, Ted Lane (Veronica) of Orange Park and Teri Lane of Jackson. She is also survived by relatives, and wonderful friends.

In lieu of flowers, donations or Mass offerings in Dorothy's name can be made to Holy Angels Catholic Church, West Bend or to these charities close to Dorothy's heart: St. Vincent DePaul Society, West Bend, Interfaith Caregivers of Washington County, or St. Ben's Community Meal program, Milwaukee.

“We remember Dorothy as a loving cousin and a wonderful friend. Her laughter could light up a room, especially when she was around her family. We have so many fond memories of getting together at Uncle Mike's and Uncles John's farms, eating great meals and telling hilarious stories. When I was young, many of the stories were told in Polish so us little kids wouldn't understand. As Teri said, she is now enjoying an incredible family reunion! We love her and miss her.”
