It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Joan Leonora Wentlandt of Jackson, Wisconsin, who passed away on May 10, 2026, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her sister Audrey (Mike Czerniak). She is survived by: her husband Gerald "Jerry" Wentlandt; her children, Suzy Hansen (Jamie) and David Wentlandt (Tammy); her grandchildren, Kara Prost (Austin), Bryce Wentlandt (Lo), Lauren Inhof (Josh), Andi McComas (Tristin), Troy Hansen (Niki) and Brett Hansen (Kelli Lutz); her great grandchildren, Carson, Brantley, Bristal, Paisleigh, Harper, Kinslee, Monroe, Evie, Ava, Aiden, Avery, Grayson, Iyla and Amryn; and her sister Lois Baaske (late John). She is also survived by extended family members and dear friends.
Visitation will be held on Monday, May 18th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:30 PM at the Wisconsin Memorial Park - Family Center Chapel (13037 W Capitol Dr, Brookfield, WI 53005). A funeral service will be held on Monday, May 18th 2026 at 2:30 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Family Services of Wisconsin in honor of Joan, in recognition of their positive impact on our family through adoption and support.
