Mary T. (Lewis) Kubiak Obituary

Of Jackson, died on Sunday, November 12, 2023, at the age of 71 years. She was born in Milwaukee on October 6, 1952, a daughter of Paul and Jacqueline Lewis. Mary married her best friend and the love of her life, Norman Kubiak on October 7, 1972. She worked for many years as a dental assistant and office manager. Mary loved hosting and entertaining people. Family and friends would often be invited to partake in some of her culinary and catering creations. Volunteering at church, helping neighbors and friends, or just being a good listening ear were some of Mary's many talents. Traveling to destinations like New York, San Diego, and points beyond were always welcomed. Her favorite place to visit was the cabin up north, where she could drop a line and patiently teach others to fish. Mary had a kind heart and gentle spirit. She will always be cherished in the hearts of those who knew her.

Mary will be dearly missed by her sons, Jason (Alaina) Kubiak and Paul Kubiak; grandchildren, Aden, and Evelyn Kubiak; siblings, Fr. Dennis Lewis, Tim Lewis, Brian (Diana) Lewis, Dorothy (Laurie) Lewis, Mark (Lauren) Lewis, Kevin Lewis, and Colleen (Tom) Coon; brothers-in-law, Robert (Donna) Kubiak, Gordon (Pinky) Kubiak, and Fred (Mary) Kubiak. Mary is further survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. She is preceded in death by her husband, Norm, parents, and brother, Michael Lewis.
