He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernst Boehlke and Esther; his siblings-in-law, Willard Riemer and Carole Boehlke; and his parents-in-law, Harry and Lucille Prochnow.

He is survived by: his wife Janice of David's Star Lutheran; his daughters, Jill Klug (Robert) and Kay Wagner (Randal); his grandchildren, Samuel, Abigail, Michael (Emily), Austin and Jordan; and his siblings, Loretta Riemer, Harold Boehlke and Delbert Boehlke (Jean). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Memorials to David's Star Lutheran Church and Kettle Moraine Lutheran High School are appreciated.
