He was predeceased by: his parents, Erwin Lemke and Arlawyne Lemke (Smyth); his siblings, Bud Lemke (Caryl) and Penelope Bartels (John); his brother-in-law William Withycombe; and his niece Amy Goldman.

He is survived by: his children, Nicole Antill (Greg) of Las Vegas, Dustin Lemke (Annabelle Langer) of Minneapolis and Sally Lemke of Minneapolis; his grandchildren, Ashley, Brittany and Chase; and his sister Barbara Withycombe of Antioch, IL. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, September 22nd 2026 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Apfel-Ehlert Funeral Home (315 Lord St, Edgerton, WI 53534). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, September 22nd 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Wednesday, September 23rd 2026 at the Mifflin Cemetery.

Memorials in Alan's name can be made to either Central Lutheran Church-Jammin' With Jesus or the Arts Council of Edgerton (ACE).
