It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Barbara L. (Hanson) Abraham (Janesville, Wisconsin), who passed away on July 18, 2025, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Leslie C. Hanson and Evelyn P. Hanson (Bolke); and her spouse Terry L. Abraham. She is survived by: her daughters, Kimberly Verbrick (Michael Forrey) and Tamara Abraham (Kenneth Barmore); her grandsons, Ethan and William Verbrick; her brother Andrew Hanson; her niece Traci Kersten (Matthew); her great-nephew Cameron Kersten; and her brother-in-law Randy Abraham (Sandy).
Visitation will be held on Sunday, July 27th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and on Monday, July 28th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A funeral service will be held on Monday, July 28th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 11:45 AM at the First Lutheran Church (612 N Randall Ave, Janesville, WI 53545).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to either the Barbara Abraham Memorial Scholarship—supporting students in Blackhawk Technical College's nursing assistant program, contributions sent to the family will be directed to the memorial scholarship once established; or First Lutheran Church- Project 16:49, a local initiative supporting youth in need.
