With solemn reverence, we commemorate Christopher D. Ranum (Janesville, Wisconsin), whose life came to an end on June 1, 2025 at the age of 62, leaving behind cherished memories. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Paul Ranum and Leona "Lea" Ranum (Ueland); his wife Cindy; his children, Jon Ranum (Ashley), Nicole Ranum (Marvell Cooper), Carrie Jensen and Jodi Porter (Paul Quade); his grandchildren, Ariana, Amaya, Ashton, Leanna, Avayah, Hendrix, Malik, Autumn, Dayton, Johnathan, Treven and Tanner; his great grandchildren, Jonas, Khloe, Lucas and Sophia; and his siblings, Gary Ranum (Patsy), Debra Maher, Mark Ranum (Craig Bodoh) and Curt Ranum. He was also cherished by many other family members, friends.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 10th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Apfel Wolfe Funeral Home (21 S Austin Rd, Janesville, WI 53548). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, June 11th 2025 at 11:00 AM and at 12:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, Chris would want you to plant a tree in his memory—preferably a strong one, and please, trim it properly.
