He was predeceased by: his parents, Harvey Speth and Eileen Speth (Richards); his great grandchild Noah Brooks; and his siblings, Donald Speth, Donna Tierney, Deanne Bennett, Judy Palzkill and Jolante Olson.
He is survived by: his wife Karen Steensland; his children, Kimberly Brooks (Jeff) of Janesville, Jayme Roth (Tim) of Janesville, Andrew Speth (Katy) of LaFarge and Kevin Speth (Moira Klos) of Stoughton; his grandchildren, Sean Brooks (Maggie), Kyle Brooks (Julia), Caitlin Rifkin (Dustin), Ryan Roth (Jessica), Alex Roth (Laura), Jill Gallagher (Sean), Thomas Speth, Monica Sholl (Ben), Samuel Speth, Tobias Speth, Liberty Speth and Frankie Bernards (Phil); his siblings, Daniel Speth (Gayle) and Joanne Helms; and his siblings-in-law, Joyce Speth and Jerry Olson. He is also survived by fifteen great-grandchildren; and one great grandchild.
