He is survived by: his mother Ilah Sessler; his wife Sheila; his children, Nicholas Sessler (Erin), Stacie Hogue (Edward) and Michele Hollenbach (Robin); his grandchildren, Alexis, Andrew, Autumn, Anneliese and Jacob; and his brother Tom Sessler (Linda).

Memorials are preferred in Dave's name to The Boy Scouts of America.
