He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Studt and Ruth Studt (Osmond); his brother Bill Studt; and his pet Sam. He is survived by: his wife Sally L. Payne; his children, Vicky Reents and Mike Studt; his son-in-law Scott Reents; his grandchildren, Brad Reents (Diana), Stefanie Getchell (Garet) and Samantha Studt; his great grandchildren, Owen, Emilia, Gavin and Allison; and his siblings, Lanny Studt (Joyce) and Janet McKay. He is also survived by wife, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
