He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Thurow and Anna Thurow (Kamholz); and his children, Linda McArthur and Gary Thurow. He is survived by: his sons, David Thurow (Pam) and Ricky Thurow (Gail); his grandchildren, Laura Watling (Bill), Brian Thurow, Melissa Mathis (Jerry), Jennifer Jacobs and Christina Jacobs; his great grandchildren, Londyn and Sydney; and his close friend Beverly Fry.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 24th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Windridge Memorial Park (7014 S Rawson Bridge Rd, Cary, IL 60013). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 24th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location. The military honors will be held on Friday, October 24th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
