It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Douglas I. Marklein of Janesville, Wisconsin, who passed away on January 21, 2026, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Leo G. "Lee" Marklein and Marcelyn Marklein (Liegel); his in-laws, Harold and Catherine Morse; and his siblings-in-law, Terry Morse and Debbie Morse.
He is survived by: his wife Jean Marklein; his daughters, Erin Kollenbroich (Benjamin) and Caitlin Nelson (Steven); his siblings, Robert Marklein (Jane), Mary Beth Marklein (Peter Kunkel), Kelly Marklein and Kristine Marklein; and his granddaughters, Madeleine and Harriet Kollenbroich.
