She was predeceased by: her parents, Roy Velde and Bertha Velde; her siblings, Roy and Ruth; her husband Norman Nelson; her son Michael; her daughter-in-law Evelyn; and her grandchildren, Candace and Matthew Nelson.
She is survived by: her daughter Linda DeVries (Jim); her grandchildren, Marc Griffin (Brandi), Alicia Joppe (Andrew) and Rebekah Gaumitz (Shane); her great grandchildren, Angel, Brandon, Rhea Boll, Zoey, Noah and Levi Gaumitz; and her great great grandchild Keegan Riege.
Memorial contributions are preferred to Sky Lodge Christian Camp (http://www.skylodge.org) where she spent many summers combining her love for family and Jesus.
