He was predeceased by: his parents, William L. Combs and Zola Combs (Carnes); his brother Bill Combs; and his children, Catherine and Harold Combs Jr..
He is survived by: his wife Patricia P. Thom; his children, Ron, Jim, Brad Combs, Mike, Debra, David Hutchinson and Corrine Davis; and his brother Rodney Combs. He is also survived by 17 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren.
