She was predeceased by: her parents, Maurice Dunlavy and Jeniece Dunlavy (Johns); her husband Thomas N. Thompson of Paul's Evangelical Lutheran Church; her brother David; and her brothers-in-law, Dick Opie, Terry and Dick Thompson.
She is survived by: her children, Thomas Thompson, Jr. (Debbie), Daniel Thompson (Tina), Cheryl Stromski (Joseph), Carrie Nicoloff, Crislinn Patterson and Catrina Bade; her grandchildren, Madalyn Thompson, Anthony (Christy), Alexander (Alison), Adrien Nehls (Kati), Joseph Stromski II (Sarah), Peter Nicoloff (Ashley), Alexandra Reynolds (Corbin), C. Ryan Patterson (Rachel), James, Zachary (Jessica), William Bade and Mary Magnus (Mike); her sisters, Judy Fanning and Gail Opie; her sister-in-law Susan Thompson; and her close friends, Dick and Mary Riley. She is also survived by 15 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made in Honarae's honor to either Mount Calvary Lutheran Church where she was a long-time member; or Agrace HospiceCare for the exceptional hospice services they provided.
