John E. Gullickson Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of John E. Gullickson of Janesville, Wisconsin, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 12, 2025 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Gullickson and Julia Gullickson (Wenzel); his sister Debra Rippl; his sister-in-law Diane Gullickson; his in-laws, Aloysius, Veronica Swiecichowski, Norbert, Raymond, Chester Swiecichowski and Joan Riegel; and his nephew Joseph Steidl.
He is survived by: his wife Marie Swiecichowski; his children, Kim Hopson of Harlingen, TX, John Gullickson Jr. (Darcy Duncan) of Edgerton and Jennifer Gullickson (Joe Conway) of Janesville; his grandchildren, Lena, Benjamin, Alyssa Hopson, Kaylie and Jake Conway; his great grandchildren, Juli and Haiden; his siblings, Bruce Gullickson of Menasha and Lynn Suttner (Jerome) of Appleton; his siblings-in-law, Virginia Steidl (Richard), Jim Swiecichowski (Judy), Roseann Sipin (Ralph), David Swiecichowski (Jacki), Barbara Rass (Tim), Kathleen Weyenberg (Jim), Donna Fahrenkrug, Michael Swiecichowski, Diane Swiecichowski, Mary Swiecichowski, Leo Riegel (Barb) and Lucy Swiecichowski; his friend Trude Jacobs; and his in-laws, Karen Swiecichowski and Mike Fahrenkrug. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 24th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the St. William's Catholic Church (456 N Arch St, Janesville, WI 53548). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 24th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
Memorials in Jack's name may be made to St. William's Church and Rock County Cancer Coalition.
