We bid farewell to Kay Ann Frey of Janesville, Wisconsin, born in Highland, Illinois, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on September 27, 2025 at the age of 88. Kay Ann touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Fredrick Luner and Mildred Luner; her sister Kathleen Roth; and her grandson Alexander Roberts. She is survived by: her husband Maury Frey; her children, Lisa Ryan (Dennis), Linda Splan (Jim), Michael Frey (Lisa) of Janesville, WI, Sally Roberts (Steve) of Cedarburg, WI and Sara Beam (Ron) of Waukesha, WI.; her grandchildren, Kellen Ryan, Steven Splan (Alyssa), Matthew Splan (Michelle), Tyler, Emily Splan, Colin Frey (Clare), Grace, Sophie Frey, Abigail, Aidan, Allie, Ava, Amelia Roberts, Alicia (Ciaran), Megan, Rebecca and Elizabeth Beam; and her caregiver Jane Graves.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 6th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Schneider Funeral Home (1800 E Racine St, Janesville, WI 53545). A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 6th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 12:30 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Alzheimer's Association or Salvation Army's Women's Auxiliary of Southern Wisconsin.
