She was predeceased by: her parents, Dr. John Karsten and Catherine Karsten (Clausen); and her siblings, Johanna Fabke and Frederik Karsten. She is survived by: her grandchildren, Andrew, Peter, Maria Stebbins, Sarah Sutherland Johnson (Tyrone), Paul, Samuel, Abigail Sutherland, Matthew (Amber), Grace, Josephine, Clara Bennett, Vesper, Robert, Carolyn Filley, Sophia, Chelsea, Jacob Butler, Hayes and James Sutherland; and her great grandchildren, True, Rainbow, Jalana and Sasha Johnson.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Nativity of Mary Catholic Church (313 E Wall St, Janesville, WI 53545). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 11:45 AM at the same location.
