She was predeceased by: her parents, Christian Teff and Winifred Teff (Casey); her sons, Thomas and David; and her siblings, Ruth Watry, Marianne Mahr, Jeanne Fetting, Jan Majhenich, Harold, Gerald Teff and Robert Teff.
She is survived by: her husband Richard Knopes; her children, Kathryn Pastore (Chris) and Daniel Knopes (Deborah); her grandchildren, Lauren Dombeck (Nathan), Jacque Oscarson (Andrew), Samuel and Alison Knopes; her stepgreat-grandson Max Oscarson of Janesville; her siblings, Marlene Meiners (Robert) of Caledonia, MN, Susie Bresnahan (Dennis) of Dorchester, IA, Barb Williams (Mark) of Lansing, IA and John Teff (Paula); and her brother-in-law Bill Majhenich of Milwaukee, WI.. She is also survived by her family and many friends.
In lieu of other expressions of sympathy, Phyllis' family requests donations be made to the Rock County Humane Society.
