He was loved and cherished by many people including: his mother Donna Arndt; his wife Mary Arndt (Slatter); his son Austin Arndt (Allison); his grandchildren, Ainsley, Adaline and Austin Robert Willard (Bo); his daughter Abigail Gasser (Michael); his grandchildren, Theodore, Martha and Franklin; his daughter Amelia Prom (Eric); his grandchildren, George, Gloria and Mary; his son Abraham Arndt (Kristine); his grandchildren, Andy, Adam, Abraham Jr. (AJ) and Amelia; his father Willard T. Arndt Jr.; and his father-in-law John L. Slatter.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. John Vianney Catholic School, the Mary and Bob Arndt Endowment for Cancer Care, or the Agricultural Exhibit at the Children's Museum of Rock County.
