It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rose (Powers) Cerny Fahey of Janesville, Wisconsin, born in Mauston, Wisconsin, who passed away on January 9, 2026, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Hank Cerny; and her siblings, Michael, Frank and Marie. She is survived by: her children, Debbie Simpson (Alan Paulson) of Green Bay, Dennis Cerny (Felicia) of Germanton, NC, Suzi Westby (late Steve) of Atlanta, Diane Segal (Jules) of Scottsdale, AZ, Joanne Kennedy (Bob) of Janesville, Kathy Leeder (Dave) of Winchester, WI and Tim Cerny (Wendy Ottosen) of Lake Tomahawk, WI.; her brother William Powers (Janet) of Granite Bay, CA; and her nieces and nephews, Dr. Mark Fahey (Karen) of Santa Rosa, CA, Kathryn Fahey of Madison, David Fahey (Deborah) of Louisville, CO, Michael Fahey (Petra) of Bullhead City, AZ, Ann Fahey of Madison and Eileen Shebesta (Mark) of Madison. She is also survived by 14 nephews and nieces, his 11 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, and one great-great granddaughter.
