It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Stephen C. Gaffney of Janesville, Wisconsin, born in Monmouth, Illinois, who passed away on February 2, 2023, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, James Gaffney and Ardis Gaffney (Simmons); and his siblings-in-law, Gus and Natalie Koehler. He is survived by: his wife Donna L. Koehler of Janesville; his daughters, Sheila Baron (Michael) of Oregon, WI and Stacy Nemetz of Janesville; his grandchildren, Kelly Gilligan (Brett), Jacob Baron (Tanya), Danielle Karls (Kurt), Jennifer Baron, Amber Nemetz and Sam Nemetz; his great grandchildren, Lucas, Jackson, Isabella, Charlie and Madi; his sister Sharon Stankiewicz (Bill); and his sister-in-law Nancy Koehler. He is also survived by many other extended family and friends.
