With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Stephen R. DeWitt of Janesville, Wisconsin, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. He was predeceased by: his parents, Ronald C. DeWitt and Mary Jo DeWitt (Coffey); his siblings, Matt DeWitt and Karen Elliott; and his stepmother Pat DeWitt of Paddy's Day.

He is survived by: his wife Cindy Gavin; his children, Jeremy DeWitt (Jennifer), Jason DeWitt (Jill) and Janelle O'Malley (James Brown); his brother Doug DeWitt (Shelley); his sister-in-law Connie DeWitt; and his mother-in-law Yetiva Gavin. He is also survived by numerous bonus siblings, extended family, law enforcement family and good friends.

Memorial donations can be made in his honor to Agrace Hospice.
