He was predeceased by: his parents, Wesley Winchel and Grace Winchel (Thomas); and his siblings, Glenn Winchel, Carl Winchel and Linda Lewis.
He is survived by: his wife Meredith Winchel; and his children, Amy Allen (Karl), Jeff Winchel (Erika), Brian Winchel (Jennifer), Vernon Engstrom (Ilse) and Kimberly Williamson (Tim). He is also survived by 12 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, December 20th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Foundation Bible Church (1805 Foster Ave, Janesville, WI 53545).
