With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Wayne W. Wood (Janesville, Wisconsin), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 20, 2025 at the age of 95. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Wayne W. Wood to pay them a last tribute.
In the sacred silence of farewell, Wayne is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that his light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of his loved ones. And as his memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Wayne's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Archie Wood and Eva Wood (Danks); his wife Alice Van Brocklin; his brother Gene Wood; and his son Daniel Wood.
He is survived by: his sons, David Wood, Dale Wood (Linda), John Wood (Karen), James Wood (Lesa Rae) and Bill Wood. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 30th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Schneider Funeral Directors (1800 E Racine St, Janesville, WI 53547).
Memorial contributions are preferred to Agrace Hospice.
