He was predeceased by: his parents, George Barkley and Evelyn Barkley (Anderson); and his great grandchild Charlotte Grace Meier. He is survived by: his wife Marcine C. Discher; his children, Sandra Barkley of Duluth, MN, David Barkley (Mical) of Janesville and Maryann Higgins (Robert) of Pauls Valley, OK; his grandchildren, Bryanna Elzinga (Josh), Alyssa Meier (Adam), Alex Barkley (Karina), Christopher Evers (Tylynn), Nichol Chambers (Nick) and Nathan Lemm (Shelby); and his brother Don Barkley (Sally) of Fairview Heights, IL. He is also survived by 13 great grandchildren.
