With profound sadness, we say goodbye to William R. Ebert (Janesville, Wisconsin), whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. William left this world on May 15, 2026 at the age of 75, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Wallace H. Ebert and Betty A. Ebert (Conway); and his brother-in-law Fran Prien. He is survived by: his wife Regina Arbisi-Ebert; his pet Holly; his daughters, Courtney Winkler (David) and Carrie Horne (Chase); his grandchildren, Jayden, Jonathan, Zachary, Kodie, Adriana, Austin and Emery; his siblings, Cindy Prien, Bob Ebert (Kathy), Becky VerBunker (Dennis) and Sandy Notstad (Jeff); his sisters-in-law, Rebecca Fielder (Lee) and Rita Sibigtroth (Jim); his godchild Shannon; Travis. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 28th 2026 from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. John Lutheran Church (302 N Parker Dr, Janesville, WI 53545). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, May 28th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the St. John Evangelical Lutheran Church (302 N Parker Dr, Janesville, WI 53545).
In lieu of flowers, gifts in Bill's honor can be made to the Foundation at Blackhawk Technical College at Blackhawk.edu/Foundation. (A scholarship will be created in his name.) Gifts can also be made to St. John's Lutheran Church or the American Cancer Society.
