She was predeceased by: her parents, Pete Lechnir and Jean Lechnir (Higgins); her husband William A. Starkey; and her brother Peter Lechnir. She is survived by: her children, Aaron W. Starkey and Sarah DeLong (Jason); her granddaughter Harper Starkey; and her siblings, Linda Steinke, Bonnie Jackson (Bob) and Jon Lechnir (JoAnne). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, & cousins.
