She was predeceased by: her parents, William Birkholz and Elizabeth Birkholz (Mundt); and her sister Mary Jo. She is survived by: her husband Carl Anderson of Jefferson; her children, Cindy Witucki of Jefferson, Jeff Anderson (Stephanie) of Chickamauga, GA and Paul Zwieg (Nora) of Spring Grove, IL; her grandchildren, Shelley, Jim (Melinda), Sarah, Andrew, Josie (Gavyn) and Jack; her sister Barbara Birkholz; and her niece Ashley Christensen. She is also survived by 9 great-grandchildren, and 1 great, great-grandchild.
