David J. Billig Obituary
It is with sadness that the passing of David J. Billig (Jefferson, Wisconsin) is shared. David, born on January 29, 1941, passed away on September 6, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
David will be remembered for the time spent with loved ones and the moments that brought joy to those around him. Friends and family will honor David by reflecting on shared memories and the positive influence he had in their lives. Though David is no longer present, the bonds he created and the experiences shared will endure. David’s memory will continue to be a source of comfort for all who knew him.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Billig and Marie Billig; and his sister Carol. He is survived by: his wife Barbara; his children, Tracy Strand (Jamie) and Robert (Robyn); his granddaughter Paige; and his brother-in-law Bruce Lemke (Arlene). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in David’s name to the Vietnam Memorial Wall project in Watertown, WI.
