He is survived by: his sons, Randall Rode and Kevin Rode (Sara); his grandchildren, Thomas and Jacqueline; and his siblings, Rich Rode (Dee), Ron Rode (Patricia), Christine Pettit (Alex), Sherry Furgason (Chrissa) and Edward "Junior" Thiel, Jr..
A celebration of life will be held on Friday, October 23rd 2026 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Rock River Lanes (1010 Larsen Rd, Fort Atkinson, WI 53538).
