She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul Cook and Vina Cook (Plankey); her husband David Statz; her son Bill Gaber; and her siblings, Dick Cook, Delores Nolechek, Carol Osterman and Judy Martin.

She is survived by: her children, Lori Gaber, Jeffrey Gaber (Rosmery), Randy Gaber (Maureen) and Greg Gaber (Sandra); her sisters, Pat Perlberg, Paula Cook and Steph Dalka; and her children, David Statz (Sandy), Peter Statz, Sue Burrow, Judy Statz and Chris Samuels. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren, many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Humane Society of Jefferson County.
