He was predeceased by: his wife Dorothy Mielke of Appleton; his parents, Albert O. Mengarelli and Dora L. Mengarelli (Ruffini); and his brothers, Richard, Anthony and James Mengarelli.
He is survived by: his daughters, Ann Heiting (Tom) of Punta Gorda and Chris Mengarelli (Dale Elliott) of San Jose, California; and his grandson Jarrett Heiting (Jessica) of Sarasota, Florida..
