He was predeceased by : his parents, Irma Linskens and Antone Linskens; his former life partner Betty; and his siblings, Eugene (Lavern), Anthony, Donald Linskens (Audrey) and Joyce Kelling (Earl).

He is survived by : his daughter Lindsay Gretzinger (Paul); his stepson Cory Schmitt (Kristy); his granddaughters, Lilah, Rosalie and Ivy; and his sister-in-law Lois Linskens.
