He is survived by: his children, LaVonne Frank (Gary), Carol Bowden (Steve), Ann Gehl (Rick) and Scott Backus (Julie); and his extended family, Bonnie Fischer and Dave Heindl. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.
