He was predeceased by: his parents, John Verkuilen and Anne Verkuilen (Van Schyndel); his wife Carol Belling; his sisters, Fran Verhagen (Wally) and Annamarie Hein (Spike); and his in-laws, Diane Verkuilen, Marilyn Verkuilen, Bruce Schultz, Al Bangart, Bill Schultz and Al Belling.
He is survived by: his sons, Craig Verkuilen (Gloria Strenn), Steve Verkuilen (Jill), Gary Verkuilen (Melissa), Den Verkuilen and Doug Verkuilen (Michelle Immel); his grandchildren, Tanner, Bryce, Brock, Amber, Josh (Sarah), Nate, Anthony (Laura), Morgan, Mackenzie, Kendra, Preston and Alexis (Dylan); his great grandchildren, Harper, Hadley, Braden and Addison; and his siblings, Robert Verkuilen (Gloria), George "Pork" Verkuilen, Dolores Schultz, Pat Schultz (Harry), Beverly Bangart, Joe Verkuilen and Jim Verkuilen (Sharon). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 19th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Holy Cross Catholic Church (309 Desnoyer St, Kaukauna, WI 54130). A funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, June 19th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
He was an avid giver of blood, donating countless gallons over the years.
