He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis Vere and Virginia May DeFord Sr. (Tutlewski); his son Nathen Paul DeFord; and his brother Louis DeFord Jr.. He is survived by: his wife Candy DeFord of Kenosha; his children, Samuel Martin (Ricky) of Kenosha, Bridgette Bunch (Shawn) of Trevor, David DeFord (Kelly) of Kenosha and Darcey Berthelette (Walker) of Kenosha; his siblings, Arthur, Lonnie DeFord of Kenosha and Bonnie McClay (Jason); his grandchildren, Adara DeFord, Austin Bunch (Brianna Voilet), Brianna Rochell Gutierrez (Leo), Wyatt Bunch, Quinten Bunch (Caity), Bryanna Bunch, Tyler Ide (Madison), Elijah Kyle Martin, Jaiden Martin, William Martin, Jaiden Smith, Bianca Smith and Legend Smith; and his great grandchildren, Oliver Bunch and Aiden Gutierrez.
