He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul George and Frances George (Trotz); and his siblings, Ernest, Richard, Walter, Herbert, Bill George and Elsie Dysart.
He is survived by: his wife Lois George; and his children, Larry George (Linda), A. Scott George (Brenda), David George (Sandra), Paulette Bergstrom (Ronald), Debra Westfall and Shelley Peterson (Greg). He is also survived by his 17 grandchildren; his 34 great-grandchildren; his 2 great-great grandchildren.
